섹스앤더시티 투어는 맨하탄 투어버스에 몸을 싣고 맨하탄 곳곳을 돌아다니며 섹스앤더시티 촬영장을 둘러보는 방식이에요~ 버스에는 작은 TV가 달려있어서 촬영지를 지나갈때마다 가이드 언니가 섹스앤더시티 장면들을 틀어준답니다~ 원래도 섹스앤더시티 광팬이라 거의 모든 시즌을 몇번씩 봐서 그런지 왠지 친근한 맨하탄의 핫플레이스들이 눈에 많이 들어왔어요 게다가 계속 VCR을 틀어줘서 싱크가 잘 맞았답니다
한가지 아쉬운 점이라면... 맨하탄 곳곳에 엄청난 촬영지 중에서 버스에서 내려서 구경하는 곳은 별로 없다는거에요. 대부분 커다란 창을 통해 휙휙 구경한답니다 ㅜㅜ 물론 화면을 보기도 하고 가이드 언니가 왼쪽을 보세요 오른쪽을 보세요 하면서자세한 설명을 재미있게 해주긴 하지만 그래도 이렇게 창밖으로만 보니깐 아쉬웠어요!
■ 하룻동안 뉴요커 되기, 뉴요커들의 일상 속으로!
실제로 그 많은 명소들을 (섹스앤더시티 촬영지는 맨하탄에 엄청 많음) 다 일일이 내려 구경하다간 하루종일 돌아다녀도 모자를것 같지만요;; 물론 그 중에도 몇군데 버스에서 내려서 직접 들어가 볼 수 있었답니다
영화 섹스앤더시티 1 에서 캐리와 빅이 피로연을 치뤘던 그곳 맨하탄 부다칸(Buddakan) 이에요 유독 미드를 보면 이런 오리엔탈풍의 레스토랑이 많이 등장하곤 하는데 이곳은 뉴욕커식 아시아요리를 선보인다고 해요.
아직은 이른 아침이라 영업전임에도 불구하고 섹스앤더시티 투어 를 위해서 오픈을 해주시더군요 바로 부다칸 지하 1층이 맨하탄 섹스앤더시티 촬영장소~ 멋진 샹들리에와 테이블 좌석이 정말 궁전을 연상하는 곳이에요~ 실제로 영화 섹스앤더시티에 등장한 뒤로 예약을 하지 않으면 자리가 없을정도로 뉴욕 맨하튼 유명 맛집이 되었다고 하더라구요 물론 예약도 엄청 어렵구요;; 부다칸의 인기메뉴는 블랙빈 소스 랍스타 물론;; 아쉽게 먹어보진 못했지요 ㅋ
그리고 다시 뉴욕 맨하탄 투어버스를 타고 이동합니다~ 빅과 캐리가 결혼식을 올릴뻔! 한 뉴욕 공립도서관도 지나구요 실제 촬영모습은 이런 모습이었군요~ 도서관에서 무슨 결혼식이냐.. 싶지만 실제로 이곳은 뉴욕에서 엄청 인기있는 결혼식 장소라고해요 무려 1년전에 예약해야 할정도라는;;
샬롯이 전. 남편의 시어머니와 함께 들렸던 엄청 비싼 가구점도 지나구요 에이든의 작업실도 지나구요
캐리와 미란다, 사만다, 샬롯이 브런치를 즐겼던 레스토랑들도 지나고 샬롯이 핑크래빗을 구입했던 맨하탄의 그 상점도 지납니다 ㅋ (섹스앤더시티 보셨던분들만 이해하실듯ㅋ)
그리고 마지막으로 들른 곳은 바로매그놀리아 베이커리에 들어가기 전에 친절한 가이드 제시카가 투어에 참여한 모든 사람들에게 컵케이크를 하나씩 나눠줬어요 빛의 속도로 집어가는 사람들 ㅋㅋ 컵케이크를 먹으며 자유롭게 구경 & 쇼핑하라며 자유시간을 주셨답니다 일단 제일 먼저 간 곳은 매그놀리아 베이커리 입니다 매그놀리아 베이커리 컵케이크에 관한 포스팅은 벌써 올렸으니 궁금하신 분들은 클릭해주세용!!

쇼핑을 마음껏 하지못한 (으응?) 아쉬운 마음을 뒤로하고 다시 투어버스에 올랐습니다 심각한 맨하탄의 교통체증;;; 다행이 투어버스 운전 하시는 분이 완전 베스트 드라이버 라서 그 좁은 길을 커다란 버스를 몰고 휙휙 잘도 지나가시더라는 ㅋㅋ
