HP에서 일반 소비자를 대상으로한 컨버터블 타블렛을 출시했습니다. 이 노트북은 AMD의 Turion X2 dual-core 프로세서에 LED-backlit를 가진 12.1인치의 회전디스플레이를 탑재하고 있고 지문인식기, 내장 웹캠과 마이크, 블루투스 / WiFi,  5-in-1 멀티카드 리더와 LightScribe SuperMulti DVD 플레이어를 가지고 있습니다. 멀티터치라는 애플 아이팟이나 아이폰에 손가락 두개로 컨트롤 하는기능도 사용할 수 있는 것이 특징입니다. 국내에서 출시될지는 미지수이구요. 이미 HP사이트와 아마존 사이트에서는 판매를 시작하고 있습니다.

실제 출시되는 모델에 따라 사양이 달라지겠지만 우선 아마존 사이트에서 판매중인 HP TouchSmart TX2-1020US 제품의 사양 올립니다.

  • 3 USB 2.0 ports for connecting a wide range of peripherals--from digital cameras to MP3 players
  • Analog video out: 1 VGA monitor port
  • 1 ExpressCard 34
  • 2 headphone jacks (1 with S/PDIF digital audio compatibility) and 1 microphone jack
    1 notebook expansion port 3 (for use with the HP xb3000 Expansion Base or the HP Notebook QuickDock)
  • 1 consumer IR (infrared) for remote control
  • 5-in-1 memory card reader (Secure Digital, MultiMedia, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, xD Picture Card)
  • Gigabit Ethernet port for 10/100/1000 networking
  • Integrated 56K modem (V.90)

미국에서는 가격도 착한편이라서 유용하게 사용될 수 있는 기기로 보여지지만 국내 환율을 적용하면 아무래도 부담스럽지 않나 생각됩니다.
