갑자기 PAVLO에서 왠 자동차 이야기인지 궁금하시죠? ㅎㅎ 이번에 도킹스테이션 제품(HP USB Docking Station)을 제손에 넣어 리뷰를 하려 하는데, 이래저래 보다가 뒷태가 마치 스포츠카 람보르기니의 뒷태와 비슷하다는 느낌을 받았습니다. 시크한 외형하며, 음지와 양지(?)가 적절히 조화된 설계가 비슷하게 느껴졌는데요, 어디 한번 타 보시겠어요~? ㅎㅎ
"노트북을 데스크탑처럼쓰자!"의 신조를 가진 도킹스테이션, 기본적으로 요녀석에게는 포트 확장기, 노트북 스탠드, 오디오 스피커 및 서브우퍼가 있습니다. 하나하나씩 뽀개면서 뭐하는 녀석들인지 살펴보기로 하죠! [HP USB Docking Station 관련 영상]
포트 확장기에는 전원연결 단자 / USB 포트 4개 / 오디오 입력(마이크)잭 / 오디오출력 (헤드폰) 잭 / USB 연결단자 / RJ-45(네트워크) 잭 / 외장 모니터 포트 / 보안 케이블 슬롯이 있어 노트북에서 가지고 있지 않는 확장 슬롯을 커버해줍니다. 물론 유/무선 마우스와 키보드를 후면의 USB 슬롯에 꽂아서 사용하면 보다 편하게 컴퓨팅을 즐기실 수 있습니다!
노트북 스탠드는, 학창시절 도서관 곰팡이들의 필수품인 책 스탠드와 같은데 책대신 노트북을 놓도록 만들어졌다고 보시면 됩니다. 3단으로 높이를 조절할 수 있어서 알맞게 사용하시면 될 듯 합니다. 의자 높이와 사용상황에 맞게 조절하면 딱!!
오디오 스피커 및 서브우퍼!! 요녀석이 제일 맘에 들더군요! ㅎㅎ 음질 및 음량을 테스팅 해보기 위해 조금 늦게 퇴근하면서 그나마 사무실에 계신분들께 만약의 사태를 대비해서 사전 고지를 했습니다. 음량 테스팅 하려하는데 시끄러울 수 있으니 사전 양해를 구한다고요.. 아니나 다를까.. 음량이... ㅎㄷㄷ... 최대 음량으로 키우질 않아서 망정이지 유리창이라도 깨질뻔.. ㅎㅎ 노트북으로 심장을 쿵쾅쿵쾅 뛰도록 만들어줄 음량을 기대할 수 있다는 것만으로도 최고인듯 합니다..
아래에 스포츠카 람보르기니의 엔진소리와 HP USB Docking Station의 음량을 찍은 영상이 있으니 한번 감상해 보시길! 캠코더로 찍다보니 음량이 조금은 약하게 들릴수도 있습니다~
HP USB Docking Station의 부품별로 살펴보셨으니 이제, 합체하는 과정을 보시죠! 람보르기니와 같은 뒷태를 가지기 위한 Docking Station의 무한질주~~ 아래 사진에서 보실 수 있으시듯, 세 녀석을 그냥 겹쳐주시기만 하면 완료가 되죠~ 부품별로 하단에 서로를 인식할 수 있도록 설계되어 쉽게 연결이 됩니다.
합체가 완료 되었다면 두근두근... 이제 놋북과 연결해야죠!! 뭐 따로 설치하거나 할필요 없이 USB 케이블을 통해서 한번에 연결이 됩니다! 그럼, 전원을 키고 음악 감상하는 일만 남았죠! ㅎㅎ
도킹 스테이션이 원래 노트북을 집에서 데스크탑 처럼 활용을 하다가, 외출시에는 쉽게 케이블 하나만 뽑아서 사용하기위한 것인데요, 스피커가 따로 필요없이 일체형으로 우퍼까지 달려서 나왔다는 점이 가장 인상깊었습니다. 음악 들으실 땐 옆집 조심하셔야 할듯!!
